Enable or Disable Shutdown, Restart & Hibernate Options when your system is Locked

When a PC or Laptop is Locked, through the Log on screen any User can Shutdown System. If you want to disable that button follow the steps below.

First Method:

1. To Enable Shutdown/restart/hibernate  without Logon to the computer.
   Download File
2. Save the .reg file on Desktop
3. Right click on the downloaded .reg file and click on Merge.
4. Click on Run -> Yes -> Yes -> OK when it promotes.
5. To Disable Shutdown/restart/hibernate  without Logon to the computer
   Download File
6. Save the .reg file on Desktop
7. Right click on the downloaded .reg file and click on Merge.
8. Click on Run -> Yes -> Yes -> OK when it promtes

Second Method:
Manually in Registry Editor

1. Open the Run -> regedit -> Yes
2. In regedit , Go through the path
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
3. In the right Pane, right click on shutdownwithoutlogon and click on modify
4. To Disable Shut Down without Having to Logon
   Type 0, and click on OK
5. To Enable Shut Down Without Having to Log on
   Type 1, and click on OK
6. Close regedit
